Filling the Boxes with Wood Chips as Ground Cover

Time to fill the boxes with wood chips for ground cover How to estimate how much I need? Length X Width X Depth for each box I calculated the total to be about 8 cubic yards I shopped around and found wood chips to be $70-80 per yard Plus delivery fee of $125 Hmm, bright idea! Home Depot has 2 Cu FT bags for under 3 bucks per I just need 105 bags So, I went shopping Ordered 110 Bags and $50 delivery fee. It took 2 deliveries which worked out well for me

The delivery driver from Home Depot was so terrific!  On each of the two deliveries, he helped me unload the chip bags. These are not light, I'm guessing about 30-35 lbs. each, but seem to get heavier with each bag. I struggled to pull them off the pallet and lug them across the yard. The driver pulled them off the pallet, carried them, and tossed them the last 15-20 feet. He unloaded more than half for me. He did not have to do that, it's not part of the delivery, he's a great guy!
